How to join
- Install the Modrinth App and sign in with your Microsoft account.
- Download the modpack and drag it into the app.
- Press Play, open Multiplayer and pick Homeserver Minecraft. If it isn’t listed, choose Add Server and enter
minecraft.mctechsolutions.eu.

The server also runs Lithium, FerriteCore, C2ME and Chunky for performance, and spark for diagnosing lag. You don’t need to install those.
It also runs Universal Graves: when you die, your items go into a grave where you fell instead of despawning.
Shaders (optional)
Shaders add real lighting, shadows, reflections and moving water. They only run on your own PC, so the server doesn’t care whether you use them. They’re not in the modpack because they’re heavy on laptops and older graphics cards.
- Download Iris (26.3 version). In the Modrinth App, open the modpack’s profile, go to Content and drag the file in.
- Download a shader pack. Complementary Reimagined is a good first pick: it looks great and runs well on most gaming PCs.
- Start the game and press O (or go to Options → Video Settings → Shader Packs). Choose Open Shader Pack Folder, drop the zip in, select it and click Apply.
Tip Start on the shader’s Medium or High profile and drop to Low if it stutters. Keep your render distance around 12 chunks. If the game won’t start after adding Iris, remove the Iris file from the profile and you’re back to normal.
